AMID VACANT SEATS – Despite his failed bid to return as the Lone Representative of Baguio City in the just concluded May 13 National Elections, outgoing City Mayor Mauricio Domogan attends early the City Hall flag raising ceremony as he had religiouslu done so since he started his political career serving the City of Baguio from 1987 to the present. He first won as city councilor in 1987 and as vice mayor in 1992 and was elevated as city mayor the same date when he took his oath of office, a post he handled for three terms. In 2001 he was elected as congressman and served the full term for nine consecutive years. Domogan, “The Janitor of The City”, again won the mayoralty race in 2010 and finished his full term to date. – By Bong Cayabyab.
