Baguio Police Ready for June 1 School Opening

BAGUIO CITY – The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) is ready with its “Oplan Balik Eskwela “ for the opening of classes for public schools on Monday, June 1.
According to P/Sr Supt Rolly Miranda, BCPO city director , the PNP is prepared to give security to thousands of students who will be flocking to schools.
Miranda said a total of 350 police personnel will be deployed in the city to assist motorists and conduct traffic regulation and control for smooth traffic flow especially with the various on-going road repair works.
The police will also increase their presence in transport terminals, restaurants, shopping centers, automated teller machines, and other areas frequented by students.
“We are closely coordinating with school officials to have the better if not the best groundwork for the school opening,” Miranda said as he called on the public for their cooperation and involvement in making Baguio an orderly and peaceful place all year round./JDP/JBZ- PIA CAR
