Baguio Representative Nicasio M. Aliping, Jr.’s golf tournament raised 1.5 million pesos for the Baguio Congressman’s Social Responsibility Foundation (BCSRF).
The Baguio Congressman’s Golf Tournament was held on March 1 as part of Aliping’s birthday celebration. The BCSRF has been engaged in providing assistance to Baguio constituents in several activities like medical missions, medical assistance, feeding programs and transport services, among others.
Aliping said “the biggest chunk of the raised budget will go to the continuous free transport services.” The transport services cater to constituents in need of assistance like transporting patients and deceased indigent constituents, providing support to other organizations in their philanthropic activities andassisting local athletes.
Aliping thanked the sponsors, benefactors and players during the awarding of winners of the tournament. Aliping led the awarding of the tournament winners together with the board of trustees of the foundation. The board consist of CouncilorPoppoCosalan, JojoCamdasCabato, Jun Orca, Rudy Paraan, Ron Perez, Councilor Leandro Yangot, Architect MylenYaranon, Councilor Joel Alangsab, ArtAllad-iw.
Class A Champion of the golf tournament was Ed Meneses followed by Lyndon Julian as the first Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up is Sammy Sab-it.
Class B was won by Joe Buhangin followed by Carter Reigh and Art Bacoco. Class C was won by RogelManagdag followed by John Ray Libiran and Baguio Councilor Mike Lawana.
The ladies tournament was won by Dorigen San Juan followed by Mel Donato and Rechelle Julian. Senior division Champion was Joe Balacao followed by Bong Mandapat and Fred Puckett.
