Doing crimes the Filipino way

REPOST FROM 2010: “NO ONE WILL ESCAPE THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIS ACTS: What, really, is happening to our country now? Why have we become prone to doing these dastardly and heinous acts as if we cannot be held accountable for our acts anymore? What has brought us to thinking that we can now do crimes with impunity?
“Yes, evildoers and criminals may escape punishment during their lives here on earth, for one subterfuge or another. But, certainly, at some point in time, we shall face the One who put us here on earth, and account for everything that we did, said, or even thought in this world, and that, if these things that we did, said or thought did not conform to His laws and decrees, eternal punishment will come down bearing upon us.
“Ecclesiastes 12:13 of the Holy Bible is clear on this: For God will bring every deed to judgment, whether done publicly or in secret, whether good or bad. And Revelation 21:8 is also clear where evildoers and criminals will go: the lake of eternal fire which, even now, has been proved to exist and is just waiting for its “clientele’ to come.

“SUPERBUG THREATENS LIVES, TOO: If we tie these up with reports that there is a new disease—called superbug— that is also threatening peoples all around the world because it is resistant to antibiotics and therefore has no known cure yet, we are confronted with a frightening and scary scenario of worldwide deaths arising from pneumonia and blood infections that give rise to fever.
Superbug, reports from the Internet indicate, is highly contagious, as it can be passed on from one person to another by mere touching, and by using towels used by an infected individual.
Where are all these illnesses leading to? Why are they happening? Many scientists are still trying to desperately grope around for answers but there is a Biblical basis for these diseases—meaning that, these are diseases that we were warned about by the Bible, especially in the Book of Deuteronomy.
Deuteronomy 28:15, in relation to Deuteronomy 28:22, says: If you no longer listen to God and if you no longer obey His laws, all of His curses will come upon you, and among these are wasting diseases, fever and inflammation, which will plague you until you are destroyed.

“SCIENCE HAS NO CURE, BUT BIBLE HAS: The cure, therefore, will not be found in science. It is offered in the pages of the Holy Bible—particularly in Deuteronomy 28:15 itself, although we have to read it in reverse. If we are to be destroyed by wasting diseases and fever and inflammation because we are no longer following God’s commands and decrees, it would seem that the only way to stop such destruction is by obeying God.
This is also what 2 Chronicles 7:14 is saying: “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, seek me, and stop their sinful ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their lands.”
The Lord Jesus Christ taught us how to be strong in times of disasters, in Matthew 7:24-25. He said, those who listen to Him and do what He has been saying will be like a house standing on solid rock which, even if rains, floods and strong winds will come against it, will not crash.
