ORDER
The petitioners, Sps. Oscar B. San Juan and Rosalinda A. San Juan, filed this verified petition praying for the Honorable Court to declare Ella Rose Mae L. Acosta as their adopted child and to change the middle name of Ella Rose Mae to “ACOSTA” and her surname to “SAN JUAN”.
Finding the petition to be sufficient in form and substance, let the same be heard before the Regional Trial Court, Branch 4, Baguio City on August 4, 2014 at 8:30 o’clock in the morning, at which place, date and time, the petitioners shall prove their case. Any person interested may appear and show cause, if any there be, why the petition should not be granted.
Let a copy of this Order be published at the expense of the petitioners at The Junction Newspaper, a newspaper of general circulation in Baguio City once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks not later than May 18, 2014.
The petitioners are directed to make an appointment with the assigned Court Social Worker for the conduct of the required case studies on the child Ella Rose Mae L. Acosta and the petitioners. The Court Social Worker is required to submit to the Court the case study reports not later than June 5, 2014.
The Judicial Affidavits of the Petitioners and their witnesses together with their exhibits are due for submission not later than July 11, 2014.
Furnish copies hereof together with a copy of the Petition and its annexes, to the Office of the Solicitor General, the Office of the City Prosecutor of Baguio, the Court Social Worker of the Regional Trial Court in Baguio City, the petitioners through counsel and the respondents.
