ORDER
Petitioner, through counsel, filed this verified Petition for Adoption, in substance praying that after due notice, publication and hearing, the prospective adoptee, LIZ MACKENZIE FERRER GARIN, be declared for all legal intents and purposes as the adopted child of petitioner and that she shall then be known as LIZ MACKENZIE FABIA CASTILLO.
WHEREFORE, finding the Petition to be sufficient in form and substance, the petitioner is directed to meet and confer with the Court Social Worker for the conduct of the Child and Home Study in relation to this Petition. The Court Social Worker therefore is directed to conduct a Child and Home Study and submit to this court her REPORTS, incorporating therein her findings and recommendations, and furnishing copies thereof to the Office of the Solicitor General: to the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Benguet; and the Office of the Regional Director of the DSWD-CAR, Baguio City. The said offices may or may not file the Comment to said REPORTS.
The REPORTS of the Court Social Worker should be submitted to this court at least fifteen (15) days before the initial hearing of this Petition, which shall be on May 4, 2017 at 9:00 o’clock in the morning.
Let this ORDER be published at the expense of the Petitioner in The Junction, a newspaper of general circulation in Baguio City and Benguet Province and the Cordillera Administrative Region, once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks, the first publication to be made not later April 2, 2017. All interested persons may come to court and show cause, if any, why this Petition should not be granted.
Furnish copies of this ORDER, together with copies of the Petition and its annexes, to the Office of the Solicitor General; the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Benguet; the Office of the Local Civil Registrar of San Carlos, Pangasinan; and, the Court Social Worker and the Office of the Regional Direction, DSWD-CAR, Baguio City. Furnish copies of this ORDER to The Junction and the petitioner and counsel.
