LA TRINIDAD – – The intensified advocacy of the Police Regional Office Cordillera’s against all forms of criminal acts under the Philippine National Police’s Oplan Lambat-Sibat campaign led to the arrest of 21 wanted persons last week .
Among the arrested were five listed in the Top Most Wanted Persons (TMWP) for the first quarter of 2016.
The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) operatives were able to arrest the No. 10 TMWP identified as Bong Estacio Mejia, 56, for the crime of Other Form of Deceits,
and three listed as No. 4 TMWP namely Roman Gabriel Ticuan Pitilan, 18, for the crime of Robbery with Violence; Angeline Maliones y Abalos a.k.a. Angie Maliones, 45 for Estafa thru Falsification of Public Document, and Rose Espiritu y Arizo @Rosie Espiritu, 56, for the crime of Other Form of Deceits.
Jaime Puyao Sr., the No. 1 Lambat Sibat target of Mountain Province for the first quarter of this year was also arrested in his residence in Bunot Paracelis. Mt. Province .
Sixteen other wanted persons for cases of murder, acts of lasciviousness and estafa were separately arrested.
The arrest of these wanted individuals is a result of the unified cooperation and relentless efforts of all PRO-COR personnel in all its undertakings in line with the directives of the Chief, PNP particularly in strengthening the LAMBAT-SIBAT.
