Re: More than P6M in building, occupancy permit fees, reported

BAGUIO CITY – The building management division of the City Buildings and Architecture Office (CBAO) under Engr. Nazita Banez has derived fees totaling P4,885,097 and P1,434,525 in the issuance of building and occupancy permits, respectively, from January to September this year.

This was reported by Engr. Stephen Capuyan, city demolition team chief, in Monday’s flag-raising rites at City before officials and employees led by Rep. Mark Go and Vice-Mayor Edison Bilog.

He emphasized that the amounts were immediately remitted to the coffers of the city government.

Capuyan said the building management division is being enhanced by developing a computerization process to minimize applicants’ appearances and paper work for the convenience of its clients.

He added that the division is tasked to process permits with complete and complying documents within two working days with a maximum of five working days. /Gaby Keith
