BAGUIO CITY – To continue the “Tuwid na Daan” governance of President Benigno Aquino III and to further bring sustainable development for the country and inclusive growth to all the Filipino people.
This was the assurance made by administration presidential bet Mar Roxas, who led the “Tuwid na Daan” coalition rally at PFVR Gymnasium here, Sunday.
He was joined by Aika Robredo, daughter of vice presidential candidate Leni Robredo, and senatoriables former Justice Secretary Leila De Lima, former Energy sec. Jericho Petilla, Mark Lapid of Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority, former DILG Asst. Secretary Nariman “Ina” Ambolodto, Joel “Tesdaman” Villanueva and Senator Franklin Drilon.
Roxas and party also assured the strengthening and expansion of the policies and programs of the government such as health care delivery, infrastructure and tourism development, job generation and the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4Ps, among others.
Ensuring good, honest and credible governance to the next administration or to the next set of government officials is also in the hands of the Filipino people, he said.
Roxas expressed their gratitude to the warm welcome by the people of Baguio, which he stressed only shows their thrust on the straight, orderly and clean governance of the Aquino administration.
President Benigno Aquino III, who was the guest of honor in the Philippine Military Academy’s 111th commencement exercises, attended the rally and personally endorsed Roxas and party.
Aquino pointed out that continuing the country’s gains during his administration is the way forward and the right person or people to do it are the ones who really know and believe in the policies and programs that they have laid out.
Mar Roxas and his team have the ability to continue the good governance of “Tuwid Na Daan” to bring out the full potential of every province/city/municipality and the country as a whole and further improve the lives of all Filipinos especially the marginalized sector, the president stressed.
