TESDA conducts massive skills mapping survey

BAGUIO CITY – As part of the poverty alleviation program of the government, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will be undertaking the project “Barangay Kasanayan para sa Kabuhayan at Kapayapaan”.

This aims to bring the services closer to the grassroots of the city catering to out-of-school youth, unemployed, among others who want to acquire skills for self-employment, employment abroad or entrepreneurship.

Hence, all barangay officials are urged to provide list of the names as well as skills needed by their constituents who would lie to avail of the free skills training programs of TESDA.

The survey will used as basis in planning as to what specific skills training that are needed.

The barangay officials are given until August 30 to submit the list to the TESDA-Baguio City Unit at BCSAT Compound, Upper Session Road or send it thru e-mail at car.benguet@tesda.gov.ph.
