TESDA Man Yields Shabu

An instructor of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority is now behind bars when he was caught by anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cordillera Administrative Region in a sting operation early this morning at Barangay Cabinet Hill, Baguio City.

Steve Laurent Noble Serafin, 29 years old, single, instructor at TESDA Regional Training Center Baguio and a resident of Green Water Village, Baguio City was collared when he sold a sachet of methamphetamine hydrochloride worth P2,000 to a PDEA-CAR poseur-buyer.

Aside from the prohibited substance and buy-bust money, the arresting officers were also able to confiscate from Serafin a black leather wallet containing a Dangerous Drugs Board Identification Card and two paper bills.

He is now detained at the Baguio City Jail and will be slapped with a case for violating Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act Number 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./pdeacar_info@yahoo.com /pepecalulut@yahoo.com
