THE DRUG WAR CONTINUES
Mayor Mauricio Domogan gives fatherly advice to the third batch of 823 drug users and 108 drug pushers (12 died during an alleged encounter with police personnel) who surrendered to police authorities to reform and shy away from the drug menace. Mayor Domogan promised a helping hand to give information on the services provided by the city government. The orientation seminar for the surrenderees is a project of the City Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Betty Fangasan in coordination with the Baguio City Police Office headed by city police director PSSupt. George Daskeo in partnership with Serenity, a non-government organization, that conducts a Community Based Emergency response for Persons with Substance Use Disorder and an orientation for drug users to change their lives for the better.
