Troopers Support ‘Brigada Eskwela’

LAGAWE, Ifugao – Soldiers in the province supported the conduct of the “Brigada Eskwela” 2018 of the Department of Education (DepEd) in various schools. Lt. Colonel Narciso Nabulneg, Jr., commanding officer of the 54th Infantry Battalion, said “Magilas” troopers joined the yearly activity in nine schools in the towns of Alfonso Lista, Asipulo, Kiangan, Lagawe, Lamut, Mayoyao and Tinoc. Brigada Eskwela is a week-long activity of the DepEd which brings together teachers, parents, and other community members to work together in repairing and preparing public schools for the school opening in June. Meanwhile, Nabulneg bared that the 54th IB facilitated the Youth Leadership Summit held at the municipal gymnasium in Asipulo town participated by 130 youth. Also part of their operation activities is the community support program being implemented in the towns of Asipulo and Tinoc. (JDP/MBL- PIA CAR, Ifugao)
