US BOMBING OF SYRIA, A PRELUDE TO THE END: The bombing by the US of Syria on Saturday, April 07, 2017, in the aftermath of a deadly chemical attack on Syrians which President Donald Trump is blaming on Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad, brings the whole world closer to its end, as prophesied accurately by the Bible.
In Matthew 24, there is a prediction of nations warring against nations, and kingdoms rising against kingdoms, as part of the signs that indicate that the world is about to be obliterated. When viewed together with the famines and the earthquakes that are happening everywhere in the world today—which were also foretold as signs of the end—we know that we are in the so-called “end times”.
Jesus Christ, our God and Savior who is God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, warned that if we see these signs, we could be sure that the end is “… near, right at the door”. His warning included a caveat: heaven and earth will pass away, but His Words will never pass away. They will happen, and we better be prepared for what is about to take place.

HERE IS HOW THE END OF THE WORLD WILL HAPPEN: For those uninformed, here is a description of how the end will happen: the true believers of Jesus will be “handed over to be prosecuted and put to death”, causing many people to turn away from the faith, betraying and hating each other. Many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Wickedness will increase, and the love of most people will grow cold.
All of these will lead to what is called as the “abomination of desolation”—an event which many believe will be in the form of a desecration of a Jewish temple in Jerusalem. Shortly thereafter, a period known as great tribulation will happen, where there will be great distress unequaled from the beginning of the world and never to be equaled again.
Then, immediately after this great distress has taken place, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, stars will fall on earth from the skies, and the planets will be shaken—as if great earthquakes are rumbling through them. After all these things have happened, the sign of Jesus—the cross—will appear in heaven, announcing His coming.

ACCEPT JESUS AS GOD AND SAVIOR NOW TO BE SAVED: All the peoples of the world, who will still be alive at that time, will mourn when they see Jesus coming on the clouds of heaven, with great power and great glory. He will then send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather all the elect—those who accepted and received Him, and who believed in His Name as their God and Savior, and as God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
But those who are still alive at that time will have to await the raising up of the dead in Christ. The dead who believed in Jesus as God and Savior will rise first and will be brought up to the clouds first. Then, those who are still alive and who remained steadfast in their faith in Jesus as God and Savior will also be taken to the clouds, and the believers will be with the Lord forever.
The key in all these is simple: accept and receive Jesus, and believe in His Name as God and Savior, and as God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Those who will not believe and accept and receive Him as God and Savior will die in their sins, as He Himself said. So, what are you waiting for? Kneel down on your knees now, and say, “Jesus, I accept you as my God and Savior, as my God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and forgive me my sins”!
